People are so very affable, and it's a must visit for all. Digha is a sea beach town in West Bengal and has multiple beaches in the vicinity - Mandarmoni, Shankarpur, Tajpur are newer beach locations nearby with slightly upmarket stay options and lesser crowd. But between Portland, OR and San Francisco is a 10hr freeway drive, slower if you take a coastal route. San Francisco Bay Area - great natural beauty, great food, and cultural organizations, wine tasting. Salinas - Museum devoted to John Steinbeck. I must suggest you to stay in RIshikesh and you will find swargasharam trust...you will find accommodation between the range of 200 and 1000 per day...plus you can go to neelkanth and so many other places... you just need to take auto from haridwar to rishikesh...journey will take 2-3 hours depending on traffic and fare is below 150

Wayanad, beautiful place surrounded by nature. you can book hotel to stay at adithya resorts which is in the dense forest to give you a very beautiful exposure.
nearby places to visit are chembra peak, heart lake, lakkidi view point,banasura dam, pookot lake,wildlife sanctury.
and do must try 1980`s nostalgic restaurant.

Hey Avik, Yes, it remains open in winters. Don’t miss out ‘mandalpatti’...a jeep can get you halfway and then you’ll have to trek a lil to reach the viewpoint.be sure to reach there early in the morning to witness mystical sunrise😁

AnswerWishlistBook a train from Chennai to New Jalpaiguri station. It is a 40-47 hours journey. (If flights available at an affordable price then flight can be an option to get rid off from this hectic journey of 44h) or you can cover it with a break journey. From New, Jalpaiguri takes a bus to Phuentsholing. Buses are run by Bhutan Government also and cost around 150 Rs. It takes around 5-6 hours to reach Phuentsholing from New Jalpaiguri. Once in Phuentsholing, you are technically in Bhutan. If you want to reach Thimphu you can take another bus for 100-200 Rs more. The buses leave early in the morning. So the net cost for traveling from Delhi to Bhutan(excluded Chennai to Delhi)comes out to be anywhere between 750- 1050 Rs depending on whether you want to go to Thimphu or just enter Bhutan and travel along the border.

If you wanna go all alone in a cab then you have to pay more than 4000 rupees .... If you want to book on sharing basis then it'll cost 400-500 per head or if you want to book full cab then it'll cost 3500-5000..

Hey Devi, The main thing in Kashmir is road trips (Srinagar->Pahalgam and Srinagar -> Gulmarg). Both places have their own charm. A trip to Kashmir is incomplete without visiting Gulmarg and Pahalgam. Spend at least one night at the houseboat in Dal Lake in Srinagar. Happy travelling!!!

Aru valley A must visit and picture perfect place in Pahalgam. 12km away from the town of Pahalgam, it was mostly 30mins journey to Aru Valley. A breathtaking beauty between the way Pahalgam and Aru Valley. The place is surrounded by meadows, peaks, a whisper of pine and valley and a clear blue canopy over the head.
Chandanwari You can go to chandanwari from Aru Valley which is situated a distance of 16km away from the town of Pahalgam. Chandanwari is famous for Amarnath Yatra which begins by the end of June or July and continues until the end of August. The distance between Amarnath and Chandanwari is 32km. Betab Valley which is located on the way to Chandanwari. This place got the name from the Bollywood movie ‘Betab’ that was shot there. Betaab valley is one of the perfect places of mother nature where you can enjoy the heavenly pleasure. Good Luck!!
