Bhutan will have pleasant weather in June. No, a lot of trekking is not required to visit the main attractions. You can skip the Tigers nest monastery if your elderly parents cannot hike. It is quite a hike and might not be ideal for elders. Apart from that, there are dzongs which do not need a lot of trekking. You can read more about Bhutan on www.misshotelreviewer.com

-You can easily apply for visa online. No hassles.
-No other special requirement- Just be aware and alert because Ho Chin Minh is known for pick pocketing/theft. -Vegetarians and vegans might face a bit of problem. But Indian restaurants will save you. Download GRAB app in Vietnam for cabs and ordering food.
-If you are travelling during the Corona outbreak, make sure you wear mask and carry hand sanitizer. We had traveled to Vietnam in Feb and took lot of precautions.

Hey deepak, First of all, let me congratulate you as you have a picked a stupendous place as your next travel destination. The main attractions in and around Shilong are as follows: Within Shilong - 1) Elephant falls
2) Don bosco Museum
3) Wards lake
4) The many view points to get a gorgeous view of the Khasi valley from the city Nearby Shillong: 1) Dawki (I'll rate it no. one as this is the place where the water is so clear that the boats appear as floating in the air, checkout some google images to believe me!) 2) Shnongpedong (a lesser known cousin of Dawki, but equally pristine, known for river side camping) 3) Mawlynnong (cleanest village of Asia) 4) Mawsynrum (wettest places on Earth) 5) Cherrapunji (which has a variety of attractions including Swami vivekanand mission, 7 sister falls, Nohkalikai Falls, lush parks and view points) 6) Krang suri falls (I have not visited it yet, but the photos are simply droolworthy!) Meghalaya is a small and beautiful hill state of India. Shillong has its own place in the hill stations of North East India. Tourist places in Shillong are very attractive for their natural environment, scenic views, mountain ranges, cool waterfalls, lush green valleys, beautiful plains, and traditional culture.
Shillong Peak- This peak is at a distance of 10 km from Shillong from where you can see the whole city, it is quite captivating to see this peak at night, especially under the starlight.
Lady Hydari Park is a beautiful park decorated with almost every kind of flower.
Sweet Fall - If you want to go out for a day and have a picnic at a good place then you can go to Sweet Fall.
Ward's Lake is an artificial lake located right in the middle of this city and is called the life of the city, boating facilities are also available here.
Elephant Waterfall - This waterfall is located in Upper Shillong, here many falls fall together which look quite mesmerizing.
Apart from this, there are many more places to visit in Shillong, such as -

Krem Mawmluh cave
Don Bosco Museum
National Park - Nokrek and Balpakaram
Wildlife Century - Nangkhilam and Siju
There are many caves for adventurous lovers like - Siju Caves, Mawsmai Caves, Creme Momluh Cave, etc. By the way, the weather here is always pleasant. But when it rains here during the monsoon, the beauty of the whole city is enhanced and the monsoon season is the best time to visit Shillong.

No, old notes and 2000 notes are not accepted. Most of the Credit and debit cards won’t work. Just check your credit/debit cards before starting the trip

Hi, Aashish. It's likely that you are getting confused by the name Dharamshala, which is a city in Himachal Pradesh. It doesn't mean that you will have to stay in a Dharamshala (public guesthouse). The location of your hotel is the city which is situated just 33 km or 1 hour away from Kangara Mandir. However, I would suggest that you book an accomodation near the temple in Kangara district only. This question arise after our first post. Same happened with Me too. But now I am 10+ trips old and Tripoto give credit within two days after sucsesful publication. It will be credited.

I've been facing this issue as well. You can try placing the cursor and then clicking on the gallery icon (in phone) or the plus icon on desktop to add photos at selected point, if you haven't already tried this. I've also noticed the formatting and hyperlinks also randomly disappear once a trip is published. Tripoto UI has a lot of space for improvement.
