AnswerWishlistYou can Explore Auli in 2 Days. From Kanpur first you should reach Rishikesh by Train. From Rishikesh you will get Bus Or Shared Taxi for Joshimath. Joshimath is base for Auli. Joshimath is historical City with number of Old Temples. You can Stay in Joshimath for one night Next day You can Go to Auli by Ropeway with beautiful Views of Himalayan Peaks. You can Enjoy Snow in Auli during Winter. You can stay in Auli Or get back to Joshimath

Auli can be explored in two days.

UpvoteCommentThe weather in May is called as pleasant mid summer. One such ideal time to hike and trek. Evenings are comparatively cool. Switzerland is chill in May. Nights are cold though not much fog or snow is visible except in jungfrau. An ideal time to explore, have great views and do adventure. I travelled in May years back to Switzerland and explored some best part of the country.

To reach Ajmer there are trains from major cities to Ajmer junction. Another way of transport is by bus both private and public buses operate from major cities. From Ajmer Jaisalmer is 9 hours away.
