Mantralayam is 10 hours away from Mysore. Either you can take a direct bus or fly till Hubli and then take a direct train to Mantralayam. Here are some places around to visit Adoni fort Oravakallu rock garden Yaganti Anantapur Belum caves and Mahanadi. Regarding stay kindly check with OYO, Agoda and Yatra.

From Rishikesh first go to Chandigarh. From Chandigarh Sector 43 Bus Stand catch Manali Side Night Bus nd drop Near Aut Tunnel after Pandoh dam. From Aut Tunnel one Road goes towards Tirthan valley. You will get local bus for Banjar, Jibhi nd Gushiani from Aut Tunnel

Another way of reaching is via Ambala. From Rishikesh Ambala is 3 hours away. There are buses still train journey is comfortable. Then from Ambala book a cab to tirthan.

You could start with north Sikkim, move to Lachen peep into Gurudongmar lake, stop by singhik then drive to lachung view zero point, then move to Gangtok making your return easy, for Gangtok is well connected to many parts of India.

Best time to visit Kinnaur is between April to June while January to March is an ideal time to visit reckong peo. Summers are ideal time to visit Chitkul. Coming to road condition from Shimla, snowfall is predicted from December mid. Still if you are planning to drive, kindly double check the weather before travelling.
