Hey Beach Lovers
So this particular write up is about my pocket friendly Goa Tour in the peak season. And trust me, I have almost explored everything in 6 days from North to South Goa, from beaches to night life, from Cab rides to scooty rides, Doodhsagar Fall , expensive restaurants to shacks only thing that we deliberately wasn't willing to visit was Casino.
So summarizing my itenary
Day 1: Flight from Delhi to Goa on a Friday evening after office.
Day 2: Visited Calungate Beach(Goa),Anjuna Beach,Baga Beach and Love Passion Karma night club
Day 3: Chapora Fort(North Goa) and Arambol Beach(North Goa)
Day4: Palolem Beach(South Goa),
Day5: Agonda Beach (South Goa),Fisherman's Wharf(Panjim) ,Candolim Beach(North Goa)
Day6: Vagator Beach(North Goa),Morjim Beach(North Goa),Arambol Beach(North Goa)
Day7: Dudhsagar Falls(Located in the border state of Goa and Karnataka) and flew back to Delhi
Next morning the first thing we did was to pick up 3 scooties for Rs300/day and our only mode of commuting there was scooty to every nook and corner. We went to the crowded Calungute Beach (4.5 kms from the place we were putting up) and tried few water sports.
Later half of the day we went to Anjuna Beach which was around an hour from there.
Ahh!!So here I start the best part of my TRIP. I tell you guys please if u go to goa please explore North and South both. The two has its own essence and beauty. Phew please don't miss on anyone with the thought of covering the same in your next trip.
So here I go , we left North goa in the morning around 11 am by scooty (please ensure you have license and helmet ) for a beautiful route ahead .I abide by my words you will have the best time of your goa diary on these roads.
We stayed at Palolem stayed
We took a cab for Doodhsagar Falls (the same place which is there in Chennai Express) early in the morning @5am and reached the destination in around 1.5 hours .The cost for the cab to and fro from north goa candolim beach to dudhsagar falls and back was 2k, which was pretty economical when you can share it amongst 4-5 people. It's important for you to reach the fall as early as possible because there is a long que that you will have to face and also limited no of cabs goes in a day. Yes, it's there vehicle that goes inside , you are not allowed to take your own/commercial car. Mostly you will find foreigners there. You will have around an hour to enjoy the fall either sight seeing or if you are carrying spare cloth with you then definitely it will be fun to be inside cold water with fishes.
We booked the flight tickets 3 months prior to our journey date in order to avoid the peak season hiked prices. Our trip was planned from 24th Nov-30th Nov(Certainly the peak season though we paid just Rs 5800 for the return ticket). We booked a decent 2bhk cost effective apartment for the entire period of 6 days from Airbnb and paid 3k individually, twas 500 metres away from the Candolim Beach in North Goa (anyway who stays indoor when in Goa, you just need a place for sound sleep and it definitely sufficed our purpose).
We had a 7seater car pre-booked for ourselves and the cost for which was Rs 1800(inclusive of the 3 hrs of waiting charge) otherwise it would have been around Rs 1500. We reached the apartment and couldn't do much that night.
