Travelling to Manali has to be among my favourite things. The drive to Manali was an epic journey and now it’s a breeze. An experienced driver in a good vehicle(Innova) Manali's surrounding scenery is its main asset. Set amidst the Himalayas and River Beas, the adjacent countryside is truly breathtaking.if you are the type of traveller who enjoys culture, shopping, good cafes and restaurants, and so on. places to visit in Manali like solang valley,Rohtang pass,Manu temple,Monastery ,Vashisht & Hadimba Temple. The temples in Manali can all be seen in half a day. must visit the Buddhist monasteries that have been set up here by the Tibetans and other followers of Buddhism. The monasteries offer tranquil surroundings and are also an excellent place to witness the Buddhist culture. Old Manali is overrun with hippies who come mainly to smoke hash, riverside cafe that serve your favourite continental food at unbelievably low prices, music shops, motorbike cafe, cheap rentals rooms all will available in old manali, its like a tapovan area of rishikesh and kasol's hippy crowd. visit to rohtangpass Its best attraction in manali. It is a beautiful place to experience snow. Older people like parents also can go as we,This is a must go location but it does not offer what it used to 15 years back. Perhaps the global warming has reduced the snow. Like that now there is no store so much more clean. The drive is very beautiful, the view is awesome and if you like snow you can always get it there. last but not the least destination visit to Manikaran Gurudwara Sahib whenever you plan to visit Manali... Route is bit hectic & not that well maintained .. But must go to Manikaran Sahib, there are several hot water springs here in the area and main one is Located right below the Main Gurudwara. the water is boiling hot and is used by the people to cook rice parsad. the Parsad is later served to.It was a nice experience to have to visit the place but it was overcrowded and Peak season is not recommended.
Happy journey
