Day 2

Kissing the clouds: Mcleodganj
Day 2:
Today is a good day to change
The another new day,new ray of light, fresh minds and full vitality of our lives.I personally thank my almighty to wake me up to see his grand magnificent creation.
"Yeh Haseen Waadiyaan
  Ye Khula Aasmaan
  Aa Gaye Hum Kahan
  Aye Mere Saajna
  In Bahaaron Mein
  Dil Ki Kali Khil Gayi
  Mujhko Tum Jo Mile
  Har Khushi Mil Gayi"
Himalayas are beyond words,it cannot be depicted through words as words miss the mark to portray. one needs to catch the magnificence through his/her eyes,Skin should feel the chill of the breeze going through, Nose should smell the aroma of the what nature has gifted us,our ears ought to tune in to the whispers of pine and the tongue should taste the divine cuisines of the mountains.
This place Mcleodganj is seriously unpredictable during winters.we had plans to trek to triund and comeback nextday day but misfortune always travels with trekkers. Nothing goes as per plans, we need aome flexibilities and even trekkers dont let their hearts down when things dont work as per plan, they always have an alternative to all those mishappenings .Due to heavy snowfall last night in Dharamshala and Mcleodganj our guide advised us not to go for trekking to triund for camping as it can cause some medical emergencies thus suggested us to go for local sight seeing in dharamshala and Mcleodganj.
After our breakfast we all left to the Bhagsunath Temple.
Surrounded by lush green trees and pictorial landscapes, this holy temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and the local deity Bhagsu Nag. This place also holds special significance as a symbol of the courage of people as after the devastating earthquake of 1905, this sacred sanctuary was rebuilt by the Gorkha regiment back to its former glory, making it a major tourist attraction on a Mcleodganj.
Later we headed towards the Bhagsunath waterfalls which is approx 6 kms to and fro from our hotel .There is a cafe named shiva which is famous amongst the tourist at Bhagsunath waterfalls which serves maggi, tea, coffees and biscuits. Then we led to himachal pradesh cricket association (HPCA).
The picturesque venue is unique in India as it is situated at an altitude of 1,457 m above the sea level and has the snow-capped Himalayan mountains in the background. From HPCA we headed to the war memorial in Dharamshala.
The war memorial is well organized Park to commemorate tributes to Unsung Heros of this nation who sacrificed their lives in ester wars, A War Memorial with large number of trees, huge concrete plaques to display the names of Officers. It was 1530 by now and reached the hotel to have lunch. As i said the climate is unpredictable the clouds came down and covered the whole sky.we then dived into the Tibetan streats rich with young folks mostly college going indians, many foriegners, tibetan sovienour shops, Tibetan cafes. The street was filled with shops of Tibetan cultures , traditions , medicines and foods .The names of the cafes or the shops were difficult for me to memorise or spell.we all reached our rooms around 2040 hrs.The day was like a pre-workout for the next day trekking. On an average we should have covered 14 kms by walk.

The words on war memorial which inspired me:
