Lothal : It is an ancient site situated in Gujarat. It is an excavated site of Harappan culture. Ruins of the city, architecture style and infrastructure are the main attraction. Also their items (toys, jewellery, Utensils, tools etc.) are showcasing in the museum near the excavated site.
Lothal is around 80km away from ahmedabad city. You can take taxi from here and visit the site and come back. We had extended our visit by Sarangpur Hanuman temple situated at sarangpur. Very nice and peaceful temple.
