Day 1

Delhi to Mcleodganj(478.9km -10 Hours)

It takes around 10 to 12 hours to reach mcleodganj, We reached mcleodganj bus stand around 8 in the morning. Then all we had to do was book some tents for our trek because at that time there was 4-5 accommodations available! We relaxed in mcleodganj that night and started our trek next day Around 8 am.

Day 2

Triund is accessible in all the seasons, in fact it looks like a wonderland when covered in a blanket of snow. In summers it is all about verdant meadows.

You can start the trek from McLeodganj or Dharamkot. The 7 KMS trail from Dharamkot takes you through Galu Devi Temple. You will witness some of the most beautiful vistas of the valley, and the sight of the Dharamsala Cricket stadium from a bird’s eye view will take your breath away! After a few steep ascents through the forest, you will reach the lush meadows of Triund Top.

Day 3

Next Morning we Hiked down towards Dharamkot,where my car was parked. That day we just relaxed and explored mcleodganj-They have awesome street food and one or two clubs where you can have beer and listen to live music.

You should also visit Mcleo Cafe-One of the best cafes in mcleodganj. A cafe famous for being open late into the night, it is almost always full of travelers from all around the world. The chef here has a reputation of cooking up something from each part of the world, including dumplings, pasta and even grilled trout. The top floor is the place where you go to make friends with fellow travelers while sipping beer and listening to some cool music.

Day 4

Next day We explored nearby places like Naddi. There is just a view point to the snow capped mountains with small street market near by offering tea and maggi. The sunset there is Just amazing and there is hotel which is still under construction they serve best Burger’s in Naddi.

Day 5

Next we Trekked to The majestic Bhagsu Waterfalls, situated near the Bhagsu village, is one of the main attractions near Mcleodganj in the quaint state of Himachal Pradesh. Bhagsunag is a village situated about 7000 feet above the sea level, which makes it a perfect location to enjoy the beauty of a high-altitude spot.

Day 6

Next day,while travelling to New Delhi. We visited Kangra Fort(The Kangra Fort is located 20 kilometers from the town of Dharamsala on the outskirts of the town of Kangra, India)and Dharamshala Stadium(I will cover this in my next trip)
