How to Reach Hatu Peak?

By Air: The nearest airport to Hatu Peak is Shimla's Jubbarhatti Airport, located approximately 77 km away. From the airport, you can hire a taxi or take a bus to Narkanda, the nearest town to Hatu Peak. The drive from the airport to Narkanda takes around 3 hours, offering picturesque views along the way.

By Train: The major railway station to Hatu Peak is Kalka Railway Station, located around 155 km away. From Kalka, you can take a train to Shimla. Shimla is approximately 63 km from Narkanda, where Hatu Peak is situated. From here, you can hire a taxi or take a bus to Narkanda.

By Road: Narkanda, the gateway to Hatu Peak, is well-connected by road. Once you reach Shimla, you can take the NH5 towards Narkanda. The journey takes around 2-3 hours. You can also hire a taxi or take a local bus from Shimla to Narkanda.

Once you reach Narkanda, there is a motorable road that leads to Hatu Peak. It's a scenic drive of around 7 km from Narkanda to Hatu Peak. Private taxis and shared jeeps are available in Narkanda to take you to the peak.

You can choose to trek to Hatu Peak from Narkanda, which takes around 2-3 hours, depending on your pace.

Note: Remember to check weather conditions and road accessibility before planning your trip to Hatu Peak, especially during the winter months when the region experiences heavy snowfall.

Where to stay in Hatu Peak?

While Hatu Peak itself does not have accommodation facilities, the nearby town of Narkanda offers a range of hotels, guesthouses, and resorts. Some well-known options include Hotel Hatu, Hotel Snowflake, Tethys Ski Resort, and The Wilderness.
