In this era of mass extinction, we are now left with a disproportionate amount of forest cover, which has the pressure to sustain the thriving human population, while also caring for the dieing animal population and their sudden disappearance due to human action..... The vanishing of our Flora and fauna has a direct relationship with climate change and ecological disturbances that follow as a result.....
However we still have a group of vigilant citizens who are working in everyway possible to initiate the change that we need right now.... Major climate movement around the world and the climate strikes for instance are concrete proofs...which have turned the direction of global politics in this way.
However, in addition to this we have our biodiversity parks as well and national parks which are reputed sites for conservation and protection of our biodiversity.
While most of them can be accessed with reasonable restrictions, some such as the one I travelled, Aravalli Biodiversity Park, is inaccessible to the general public, and is meant solely for educational excursion.
However in coming times it can be opened for general public as well with reasonable restrictions that will not disturb the wildlife.
Aravalli Range is one of the oldest mountain ranges and covers the sates of Gujarat, where it begins, Rajasthan, Haryana and Delhi.
The present picture of the park shows the transition of the over mined aravallis and a colony of vilayati teeter(a tree) to a site that is a home to various plants, insects, birds and wild animals.
