The Torrential Mumbai Rains

Mumbai has been grappling with heavy rains for the past few weeks, resulting in waterlogging and disruptions to daily life. And being in Mumbai I can vouch for the same. Since the 14th of July it has started raining and the sun seems to be on vacation. In response to the IMD's 'red' alert, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) declared a holiday for all government and private schools and colleges. The Western Railway suburban train services experienced delays of 10-15 minutes due to waterlogging at key stations like Marine Lines and Borivali.
