Betla forest is situated in palamu district of jharkhand. Betla is a tiger reserve. The national park is home of elephants, wild boar, jackals, Indian civet, sambar, chitals etc.
Main attraction at betla forest is watching wildlife at close renge, presence of historical forts within the national park is another interesting part, a beautiful waterfalls inside the park is fasineting.
There are some privet hotels over there , but betla forest rest house is best, I stayed at betla forest rest house runs by jtdc.
Rooms are big in size with nice balcony, nit and clean bathrooms, foods are simply tasty.
