One fine day my friend asked if I want to go Kerala? Then ? We booked our tickets on the same day for God's own country. The trip was planned in very short time, and I think that was beautiful part.We decided to visit Cochin, Allepey and Munnnar.
P.S. its advisable to learn little of Malayalam as not all people know English/Hindi. I got saved by my friend as she can understand and speak Malayalam.
Day 2: Cochin to Allepey: we decided to take state transport bus KSRTC bus from Cochin to Allepey that takes around 1:30 hrs.
In Allepey hiring bike is good option as no Ola/Uber option available. There is Bikers Point just near to KSRTC bus stop in Allepey.
Day 3 : Allepey to Munnar
one can use the KSRTC bus from Allepey/Cochin to munnar that takes 5-6 hrs or can hire a cab. Private cab takes around 3-4 hours. Also when deciding the stay at Munnar try to select the place which is not close to Munnar main city as the site seeing points will be far.
Punarjani Traditional Village- Kathakali and Martial art show
Kathakali dance show is a must, they have daily show from 5-7 PM. For Kathakali try to book the first 2-3 rows tickets that will cost you around 400Rs per person and you can see their expression closely.
