There are so many unexplored places for hiking and trekking in central India.
Yesterday my relentless search for beauty brought me to a piece of nature etched by the gods themselves.
PAREVA KHOH, situated in a very interior part of Seoni District of Madhya Pradesh, tucked inside dense forest and untouched natural hills.
There lies a small village 'Pipariya' on NH 44 near Lakhnadon of Seoni District (MP), from here we went offroading into the forest for around 5 km.
From here we walked towards the dense downhill forest. It was extremely dense and the path was too narrow.
After hiking for a few kilometers we reached to an open hill ground. It was extremely beautiful, the lush green grounds surrounded by groups of trees and small streams flowing around were pleasure to the eyes.
After crossing the ground, there came another downhill forest. This one was denser, rougher and more dangerous than the last one.
We needed to trek down to reach the river.
The trek wasn't easy at all as the path was extremely vertical and narrow. A single mistake in your step and you would fall!
After trekking down very carefully for 15 minutes we reached to the river side.
We did not expect it to be this beautiful!
It was a pleasure being there. All the efforts we made were worth reaching there.
The mind blowing beauty of the untouched nature was very soothing.
The river was flowing, cutting the beautiful black shiney rocks . Somewhere still, somewhere moving down smoothly and somewhere gushing down vigorously.
There were pigeons all around, sitting in the hollow rocks. The place gets its name from this phenomenon only. PAREVA means pigeons and KHOH means huge hollow rocks.
The place has it's own vibe as it is totally untouched by man made things.
The hiking, trekking and experiencing the pure natural beauty was a great weekend adventure.
