My 2-days itinerary was:
Day 1:
Mulshi:
Pune to mulshi is a 50 minutes drive in the car,at every point in your ride you will get an eye catching view.You can also enjoy delicious mahastratian breakfast on the way.
LAVASA:
The picturesque well planned hill city,which will give you the feel of an european city, is just 60 kms from pune.(can plan during the return from mulshi as well)
DAY 2:
MAHABALESHWAR:
It is popular hill station located 120 kms from pune. The drive to mahabaleshwar will be adventurous in monsoons and you may not be able to see any viewpoints due to fog. At every viewpoint,You get this massive adrenaline rush, a feeling like you're flying in clouds . Don't miss to taste some fresh fruit ice creams in that chilled weather on your way at Venna lake.
The other places near pune ,which I heard from locals ,that are worth visiting include:
Matheran,lonavala and khandala,kashid beach and singhad fort .
