Kaas Pathar, is a plateau situated in Satara city in Maharashtra. This beautiful place falls under the Sahyadri Ranges of the Western Ghats, and it became a part of a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site in 2012.

Story Behind The Trip
Kaas Pathar, always in my mind since last 3 years with my family. Even my family also saying Kaas Valley is very beautiful and let's make plan of it. So suddenly we all decided to go and place gets happened.
From Satara Railway station beside there is early bus to kaas pathar at 6:00 sharp but missed this bus and we caught next bus around 8 am.
We reached almost 9 am at place, and completely felt we are in heaven. Forcefully winds, clouds like were blowing with the air and coldest place.
If you are coming with your own vehicles then you have park in base point parking. From next small cab will reach at ticket counter of Valley with Rs. 20/- same wise versa.
Manas family restro is best authentic restaurant in Satara specially for Veg and Nonveg Thalis. I asked 10-15 peoples in main bus depo which is famous restaurant in the city, majority wins for Manas.

Visited historical place Sajjangad(Fort of Good People), fort was captured by King Shivaji Maharaj on 2 April 1663 from Adilshah as per the my history. Sajjangad fort situated top of the mountain gives you peace and inspiration of Great Legends.

Once you purchase the tickets on guide assigned for 2-3 families, he explained history of kaas pathaar, huge plantation of Medicine plantations, different different types of flowers with free of cost.
Kaas Pathar is not only beauty of flowers but also it huge plantation of more that 500 medicine plantation. You will get the free of cost medicine of any illness in base-point of reception store.
While entering valley of flowers completely outstanding, everywhere we saw different colors of range like pink, blue, purple and yellow.
Maharashtra Tourism well maintained not valley but allowed limited peoples per day which means this place will not be overcrowded. Even you entered in valley from the ticket counter you have to keep all your bags in the counter. Only mobile phone and camera is allowed to explored.
Beauty & beauty is everywhere i can see.

Valley is very beautiful not explained in word, voice of winds, cloud goes with the air, colourful flowers, lakes gives completely heaven in Maharashtra. I could wish if government allowed me to make house in this heaven valley i will build the bungalow and enjoy this beauty everyday from the terrace.
This is one of the greatest experience of my life, and i surprised that such heavenly place has found in Maharashtra. Satara is completely amazing i really wants to come here every year.
