Day 1

As Himachal Roadways moving towards the snow-capped mountain we often saw in pictures from Delhi, the excitement level of my friends and me is increasing. Our eyes were glued to the windows to observe the outside views. A Trip was planned yesterday on 30 December and we are on the bus today. 4 members in a group of 5 never saw snowfall they are not travelers. They took a break from their day to day life to celebrate New Year in Snow and want to keep in their heart for a long time. They were ready to spend money because they said we will not have this opportunity soon we want to live it fullest but I am stubborn to make it a budget trip and trying to prove you can Create memories without spending a fortune.

The bus took 18 hrs which is way too high it normally does but as soon as we reach the Town our expectation scattered like a mirror on the last day of the year was 23 when we reached there. All excited faces became sad because the temperature in Manali is more than that was in Delhi.

As it was an unplanned trip and no prior hotel booking had been done and the occasion is the new year all hotel was packed and those vacant had sky-touching tariff with minimum facilities. After 18 Hour journey tired we decided to stay in an overpriced but near mall road hotel.

Relaxed for some time and then nearly 10 Pm moved towards Mall road. Mall road was packed full of people having boozes and dancing and waiting for midnight. It was nice for boys who had less opportunity to be in a situation like that but still, the happiness is missing as this is not for what they came to Manali.

New Morning with New hopes. We contacted a taxi driver for Solang Valley and Gulaba and started our Journey to chase the Snow.

Its a advise for the first time traveler who book these type of taxi that first tell clearly to your Driver that you don't want the winter boots and clothes because they had commission set with Vendors who rent ugly looking clothes and shoes at unreasonable price and you will not be in requirement of those.

Day 2

We Reached Solang valley, Yes their was Snow but snow which is rock hard and only for some child play skating and we played too. Because that's the best we could do there.
