Marhi is one of the least well-known travel locations in the state of Himachal Pradesh, and it can be found between Manali and Rohtang. This snow-capped valley is a wonderful trekking destination as it is situated in close proximity to the Rohtang pass.
When there is inclement weather and the roads leading to Rohtang are unable to be opened, the Marhi valley is transformed into a place for travellers who are on their way to Rohtang to stay.
The months of May through October, which encompass Marhi's summer season, are ideal for a trip there. The weather stays nice enough throughout this season for people to enjoy going on hikes and other types of outdoor activity.
The distance between Marhi and Manali is around 35 kilometres. Along the Leh-Manali Highway, the journey between the two locations takes slightly longer than an hour and a half.
