Staying in Mumbai, for the past six months gave me flavour of the financial, fashion capital and modern state of India- Mumbai. I had a chance to visit many spots, which will stay very very memorable in my heart.

T2 INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT - Located hardly minutes away from Santa Cruz and Andheri, the architecture of this airport, I would call as, space ship. Night lightings are awesome. This airport is one of the major connecting airport, with lot of amenities inside.

COURTYARD MARIOTT- For a couple of days we stayed in this hotel. Lovely rooms, room views, ambience of the room, food served and quality. There is a restraining below, that is famous for variety desserts.

ANDHERI- We took a house for rent in Andheri, which is called as West part of Mumbai. East Indians were the inhabitants of this sea, that the name was derived from Udayanagari. There are two zones in this area- East, west.

SHRI SIDDHI VINAYAK MANDIR- Located in Prabhadevi this temple was built by, Laxman Vithu Patil. Here Lord Ganapathi is called as, Navsacha Ganapathi meaning Ganesha who grants your wish.

JUHU BEACH- Located to north of Vile Parle, surrounded by Arabian Sea, this beach was called as, Jurem. Koli People are the first inhabitants of this beach.

MATUNGA- It is called as, South Indian side of Mumbai visiting Koch Guruvayurapan, Shankara Matam, tasting idly, dosa at Annaji restraunant became my monthly routine.

BANDRA BEACH- The drive from Andheri was the nearest, and from a point you would visualise the elevation of the beach. Popular Bollywood cine stars live in this area.

GATEWAY OF INDIA- An historical monument built in the 20th century in Indo saracenic style, this monument showed the entrance and departure of British India. Opposite to this monument is the Taj Maha Palace over looking the Arabian Sea. Though it was an hour drive, seeing the monument in the night, was a different experience altogether.

ALIBAUG- From Mumbai it took us, four hours to reach this beach destination. It was known as, Ashtagare, which was named after a rich man- Elichi bagh. Kulaba fort, camel, horse ride and bite of chaat, made this trip very memorable.

CHOWPATHY BEACH- It is called as, Girgaon chowpathy that is near to Marine drive. Visarjan usually happens in this beach. I loved the sunset view that chau+pati means four creeks in Marathi.
