Was in Mumbai on an official trip , chilling out in the evening with my girl gang as usual.
This place had been on my mind for a while as i had seen an image on social media of a stunning sunrise and was very curious to witness it.
There we decided and searched on google the distance from Mumbai to Owe Gaon, Kharghar which came to about 35Kms (odd) and a 45Mins to 1 hour drive.
Just while checking the details we made it a plan for the next day early morning as the next day was working too.
We decided to leave Mumbai as early as 4 am to be there by 6am latest and wait for the "Sun" to come out.
There we were all set for the adventure.
Took us nearly 1.5 hours to get to the Owe Gaon bus stop from where the route was now to cross an absolute rural area , can say like a forest, roads weren't smooth at all.
It was honestly quite a drive!!

After a 15-20 mins bumpy drive we got to the point where we had to park our car - as it could not be taken any further.
This was 50 meters from the Lake and the beautiful Sunrise view.
This is how this place looked around.
We started the walk and in just 5 -7 mins we witnessed the first sight of the lake and this is how it was.
We were here by 6:30 am and now we had to wait for the Sun to come up.
While we wait for the Sun we did some photography!
And the came the Sun out finally , this is how it looked!

Happiness had arrived and this is how we welcomed it.
Took a few more pictures around , what a lovely morning this was, we drove an hour on the highway and about 30 mins of rough drive and a small walking patch to get to this beauty , but it was all worth it!!
After spending about an hour or so we decided to move back as we had be at work!
