Overview

Mangi Tungi is the twin-pinnacle hill, situated near Taharabad in the Satana Taluka of Nashik district, Maharashtra. A plateau connects both the pinnacles. Mangi is the western side pinnacle with the elevation of 1324m and Tungi is at the eastern side at an elevation of 1331m. You need to climb almost 4500 steps to reach the top of the Pinnacles. There is a well-constructed route available to go to both the pinnacle. You can visit this place round the year.

This is also a popular holy place and the main highlight of this place is 108 feet tall Statue of Ahimsa. This statue is an idol of the first Tirthankar of Jainism, Rishabhanatha.

Itinerary

Start at 5 am

1. Climb till Mangigiri around 800 steps (approx. timings 1.5 hours)

2. And then start climbing Tungigiri which will take additional one hour to go and come back to Rishabhgiri.

3. Rishabhgiri is having 108 foot tall Lord Rishabh bhagwanji. There is lift which will take you to Rishabhgiri after you walk for a 800 steps (approx.)

4. You will complete the entire route of Mangi Tungi trek in 5 to 6 hours.
