Ladaakh Is Amazing Day8 To Day 11

Now it was time to ride double hump camels. We left early so that we can spend few hours in sand dunes of numbra. Other issue was, the route to pangong lake which goes directly from numbra was closed. Now we had to go back to leh and then from there we were planning to head for pangong next day. After spending few hours riding those amazing camels, which by the way are tagged by officials, we headed back to leh. Only attraction was we had to cross khardungla again. Should praise the road authorities. That stretch from numbra to khardungla is amazing. Heaven for bikers. Reached on top at around 2 pm. Spend some time there and clicked some pictures again. Now, Amits bike was taking the toll. Maybe it was 10 years old or it was not properly serviced i dont know the exact reason but we all had to suffer. Finally we shared the load. All his luggage was distributed among rest of the riders and then only his bike was picking up the pace. Reached leh in the evening and we tried to book rooms in the same hotel we had stayed earlier but thr was no room avalible. After searching for few hours we settled in a hotel. Charged 1200 bucks per room. It was nice. For that money it was good.

I dont know why but all of us thought we would make it back to leh from pangong same day. So we kept our luggage in hotel only. Filled our tanks and started our journey towards pangong. I dont why people are worried about khardunla bcz if you compare road to pangong with any other road in ladakh, i think this one is the most dangerous route u will have to face. It took us 5-6 hours just to reach there. But all that pain, fear its all worth it coz at the end you get to see something that is more than amazing. That is par beautiful PANGONG . One more location u will see is the spot where jab tak hai jaan song was shot. Anewaz now we have reached pangong with no additional clothes and nothing to wear. And slowly temperature wad dropping. We cant go back it was already dark. Finally we decided we have to stay. So we booked two tents 1500 for each. After spending some hours outside enjoying that breath taking view, we all dosed off.

It was time to head back to leh now. Started early in the morning. Took us 5-6 hours to reach leh. Hotel was booked already. All of us relaxed for some time and then we went for shopping coz next day we all were planning to leave for home. I went to shop with Raju bhai. He was thinking to buy some kashmiri shawls for his family so i just helped him out a little. We roamed around in leh market for sometime. Place is really amazing. At the end we had amazing dinner in one of the open restros in ladakh but unfortunately i forgot the name. The food there was amazing plus the ambiance.

Time to leave for home. Rest of the group was planning to leave for manali and then from there to Delhi. I had different plans. I was planning to leave tor srinagar and stay there for some days and then leave for delhi. So the thing is i had to drive alone from leh to srinagar. Well, it took me 10 hours from leh to srinagar. I stopped only once for 15 minutes in khalsi just to taste some food at uncles kitchen. Finally i was home after 12 days.
