Mesmerizing historical city - DELHI

If ever a place is to be called a perfect blend of history, culture, modernity, a political and technological hub, its DELHI.

India’s National Capital coupled with other adjoining places of NCR (National Capital Region) such as Noida, GreaterNoida, Gurgaon, and Faridabad should always remain as a delightful hotspot for any tourist.

Situated right in the heart of India, along the banks of river Yamuna , and in the shadows of the mighty Himalayas, Delhi is a busting city of Northern India. There are  plenty of reasons that makes it a must visit for any traveler in pursuit of satisfaction of his senses…

Delhi is one of the most savored Indian cities with regard to historical relevance. The ancient monuments, tombs and forts in this city will take you down the memory lanes, as if walking back in an era of Kings and Emperors decades ago.

A visit to the Red Fort is a must-‘A awesome imposing structure carved out of red sandstone and built by the famous Mughal emperor ShahJahan’. Locally known as LAL QUILA , the RedFortis a living reminiscent of the alluring Mughal Dynasity and their culture. A laser and sound-effect program in the evening at the RedFort grounds or shopping for handicrafts in the nearby lanes, , an overlook of the royal palaces and chambers, a tour to the RedFort museum housing handicrafts, weapons and artillery, royal costumes etc or a glance on the Royal Throne where ‘ShahJahan’ once used to sit along with his courtiers …will leave every traveler enchanted!

And if the traveler wants more, he can make a visit to Humayun’s tomb, for a peek to the his personal residence, his study room and his library.

Or a visit to the Quitab Minar (one of the tallest minars of ancient India) and the surrounding ancient builds in Qutab Complex.

And how about visiting the famous Hazrat Nizummadin Dargah, or for that matter a trip to Jama Masjid or even the historical baoli’s or stepwells in Cannaught Place.
