Day 1
Journey started form haridwar early in the morning at day 1. New tehri is 180 kms from haridwar via rishikesh route. But currently the road is under construction so travel would be little difficult. It took me around 4 hours to reach tehri from haridwar. There is not any good restaurant or dhaba after rishikesh. I checked into a hotel at new tehri market by name sidhi palace. Its a good hotel with reasonable terrif. I paid Rs 1000 for 1 night.
Tehri dam is 17 kms from here. Dam is itself beautiful and very happening place.
Next day i returned back to haridwar by a different route via mussoorie and dehradun.
