Ride Akhand in Uttarakhand, 17 days, 3630kms, 6 states.

Day 1 - Transported out biked to Delhi, we reached Delhi and picked our bikes from the station, boy we were all set for an ultimate road trip of our lives. So, the plan was three royal enfields, 1 couple and 2 single lads planned a trip to Uttarakhand from Mumbai. 17 days, Delhi-UK-HR-Raj-Guj-Mah

Day 2 - It was all about exploring Pangot valley, some 20 kms off from Nainital. Its a hidden treasure, we stayed over at the camp called Hidden Valley. Its an absolute paradise for photographers and bird lovers. 500+ species of birds around this place.

It was on Day 2 morning that we decided to leave Pangot and reach Nainital to explore the beautiful lake and place around. Also, our next destination was much closer from here so it saved time too,

So,we headed to Chaukori from Nainital. It was an awesome riding in the hills, an experience to remember for a long long time. We did some lunching in the ghats and the camp stools came to good use.

We had our stay booked at KMVN, in chaukori, Amazing location, right in from of Himalayas. Very good hospitality and courteous service by the staff. Also, provided with the heater since it was cold most of the times here. The temperatures were around 5 degrees in the night.

This was next day when we wanted to head out to Munsiyari , we had this view with full of clouds and thundering fast approaching us.

Enroute to Munsiyari via Chaukori, amazing landscapes, snow clad mountains and villages we passed by. The extreme roads with deep gorges on one side were a thrilling experience.

Rains, haiistones and cold winds were giving us a torrid time riding uphill towards Munsiyari.

We checked in to the hotel Milam Inn, pleasant stay and good food, we visited the Nandadevi temple which was hardly 6kms from the hotel. The view from the hotel was superb, peaks right in front of you. Our DSLR's came to good use from this point.

Enroute to Kausani from Munsiyari, this time it was more difficult as were on riding on the valley side of the ghats. Every traveller must visit this place called Munsiyari, there is famous glacier called Milam. There are treks for Milam glacier too that are for 8 - 14 days.

This morning we left from Karnprayag and took a road via Tehri to Mussoorie. But there was a breakdown on the Tehri ghat so we had to take a night over at Tehri and then proceed to Mussoorie the next morning.

On Day 15, we headed out of Hrishikesh and took a route via Saharanpur-Panipat Highway. We were heading back to Mumbai on bikes, so planned our stop at the Chillax n Relax biker cafe in Haryana. Mr.Sarabjeet the man behind this awesome cafe was our savior for the night.

We wasted a lot of time and couldn't cover much, so we had to make the most of once we left from Haryana. This shot is from roadside dhaba that served us sumptuous parathas and chaas.

Met a bunch of fellow rider who shared a similar passion and they were doing a 4day Udaipur tour, incidentally we were returning on the same day to Mumbai. On Mar13th, Holi.
