Botanical Garden, Regional Plant Resource Centre
This botanical park was built in 1985 as a recreational garden, according to the RPRC website. It intends to give a green lung for the inhabitants of Bhubaneswar.
The variety of the tall trees, the topiary trees, the coulourful flowers is a sight to behold. Having said that, it might have been more alluring if the names of the trees had been mentioned.

As you enter the garden, a water body and trees and plants will welcome you. As you continue forward, you will notice a lot of entertaining equipment on your right side, giving kids a chance to play. It has a lot to offer to your child, from swings to climbers to slides. The park's lush landscaping will not only wow you, but your youngster will also take pleasure in spending time there.
There is also a boating facility here for adults, but for now, because of some issue, it is not working.

Monkeys are the other attraction at Botanical Garden, Regional Plant Resource Centre?
As we left the park, we saw some monkeys munching on leaves while another group was swinging from one branch of the trees to another. Although I have no idea if monkeys are frequently seen in this park, it was a lovely sight.
Koraput Coffee at Botanical Garden, Regional Plant Resource Centre
After a walk through the park, one can sip Koraput Coffee at the garden. While my husband took hot coffee, I opted for the cold one. It is a special blend made entirely of Arabica coffee. Koraput coffee plantation is done in the Koraput district of Odisha.
Ticket prices and other information
Children under the age of six enter free of charge, while adult entry cost is Rs 25 per head. Garden hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. from March to October and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. from November to February.
