This Destination Ride was my dream come true....had listen many stories of this pass from many enthusiastic riders and one day in one unplanned way the video of sachpass popped up on my youtube app and I started to watch that....from that moment I had to told myself that you are going to do this...
Tadaa. finally this day came but there was one problem we did not sure whether pass was opened for tourists or locals........ as well as we were trying to get it confirmed from many ways about pass condition but all we got was uncleared replies..but by keeping positive thoughts we started our journey... So this is it finally we, started our journey from ( me from Ghaziabad) Delhi around 9PM, but stucked near Singhu border due to my fellow Rider Friend Motorcycle (nakhre kar rahi thi) had some issues with its battery (it was serious issue because we haven't find any repair shop at that time it was around
10:30PM)..that moment I thought ride may get cancelled but on my mind I keep telling me that I will go no matter what....after some time some how my fellow rider manage another battery from Delhi...and there after our ride continued around 12AM.
We Reached Ludhiana Border around 5:45AM which takes us approx 6hrs to cover 300km....we had some refreshments and resumed from there.
We reached Pathankot around 8:41AM and had Breakfast meal. At that time we still not have any Ideas about pass condition whether its open now or not.
And then finally we got good news from that hotelier(we were having our meal)..he told us that many riders and locals came
across from the top of sach pass.
We were was all Yeah...Yay...Yeah...Vroom...Vroooooom Now we had to cover approx 165+ KM from Pathankot to reach Tissa which was halt for that day. We reached Tissa around 5-6PM around. Now all we had to wait for the next morning to start my dream Ride and witness the Dangerous Passes of all time.
Now this day around 6AM we started our packing but didn't have our lunch which we were planned to have on the way. My excitement was on the next level which I can feel every time whenever I crossover my Sach Pass album...
We leave hotel around 6:45 then after covering few Kilometres
while enjoying scenic beauty of valley. Decided to have our Breakfast (Daal+Chawal+Roti) at local homestay and the food
was mouth watering.
And after having call to our home and have little chit chat ( after
satrundi there was no network connection availablity so it seems
best to inform our family that you are safe and leaving for sach
pass top).
After crossing Satrundi you have to stop at Checkpoint there you have to register yourself with gaurdian contact details ( carry ID ). As there was no checkpoint from here to Killar Village...in case of any mis-happening they will inform to our family and make searches for you.
We make to Sach Pass Top around 2PM and leaved for Killar Village around 2:30PM and it takes us to reach Killar 6Hrs around 9:30 PM. We had our dinner and go to our beds at 10PM( room were shared with other duo riders..as cost of stay at killar is high compare to other places...there are very less stay option available
there)
Road condition from Sach Pass Top to Killar Village are very Serious off road.we had many water crossings(must carry waterproof Shoes and body suits), dense slug and waterfalls through all the way. Night make this all creepy and tough but in reality I had enjoyed all this.
When you do Sach Pass from Tissa side its like ok ok but from Killar to Sach Pass you gone to feel very full body exertions.
