Haridwar the bank of river Ganges

Haridwar the place of temples which is situated in the bank of river Ganges. It's a one of the holy place for Hindus people come different part of the country and bath in the river Ganges to wash away their sin to attain moksha. It's a place where river Ganges known as Ganga maiya. In Haridwar there is a Ganga temple every evening all the priest ( pandit) do aarti of the river Ganga in the front of goddess Ganga idols. Everyday before Arati the godess should come out from the temple by the priest(pandit) and stand in the front of Ganga after few minutes the famous Aarti starts. I believe if you see Aarti you are out of the world you feel energetic it refresh your heart your mind and no word.

Haridwar has own history according to Hindu mythology apart from that Hardwar has two meanings Hari mean lord and Dwar mean the gate here it mean the gateway of lord good time to visit March to April or October to November. We reached Haridwar by train in the mourning there are many ashrams, Dharamshalas, and hotel so we decide to live in Dharamshala it cost around ₹ 150/day/person. We take auto to leave for Harki Pauri ghat for bath and these ghat is very famous because of main Aarti was held in this ghat. After bath clicking some good pics we leave for Mansa Devi temple which is one of the shaktipit was situated on the top of the hill you can see from Harki Pauri ghat Mansa Devi temple is 4-5 km from main bazar. After 100 stairs the way temple started it take around 20- 35 mins to reached on the way you can see the beauty, the greenery of Haridwar and from the hill you can see the whole city which is situated in the bank of river Ganga it's an amazing experience.

Its a nice temple  we can't take photos inside the temple because it's prohibited. While returning we eat some food it just 11am we a have time so we visit chandi devi temple but we also want to come back early because we don't miss the Ganga Aarti

in evening so we hire auto for mansa Devi temple from the market it talk ₹100/ head  up and down. The temple is also on the top of the hill so it is almost 6-8 km from auto stand the beauty of the temple is

incredible,outstanding  work of art inside but unfortunately photo prohibited while returning we take rope service instead of walking it show some good view of forest the hill and river Ganga.

Next day we talk to dhramshala staff to visit Rishikesh they also provide car with guide. There are many temple apart from that it also famous for some adventuring sports like  (pungging, paragraphing, Rafting, treeking). In Rishikesh at first we visit Laxman temple it's the only temple where you see a single idol of lord Laxman.

After moved few step we reached Adibhadrinath, Adikedharnath it is a place where main kedhaarnath, bardhinath pray held in winter when it was closed for 6 months then we went to see the Laxman jhula which connects the two bank made up of iron wire it's look beautiful the two mountain connect by narrow bridge and the river Ganga flow from bottom.

After that we went to Harihar Ashram where parad shivalinga and Rudraksha tree is the main attraction parad shivlshiva made of mercury and weight of shivalinga is 150 kg. There is also " Rudraksha" tree in the ashram 3 Mukhi rudraksha is one kind of variant was found here.

After seeing we gone for lunch in "chotiwala restaurant" the famous thing in the restaurant

It's an amazing to gather crowd. After walking few step we see Ram Jhula the

length of bridge is long as compare to Laxman jhula its same as it's we sit in the bank of Ganga and take photos it make us calm,patience. So our next stop was "pavan dham" temple this is so beautiful and interesting things the interior of these temple is made of pieces of glasses .

After that we visit chota Vaishno Devi temple which is replica of main Vaishno Devi here the devotees has to climb the floor, crawl through a narrow man made tunnel to pay obeisance to main Vaishno Devi you can also see the replica of 12 jyotrilinga of lord Shiva here not like natural but awesome work of architecture.

After that we went out last temple to visit Bharat Mata temple which is the oldest temple in Reshikesh it has 8 floor and

dedicate to mother India in every floor has different idol of Bharat Mata

Thank you our journey of haridwar and Rishikesh has come to end.
