Looking for weekend gateway near nature? with family? with economical plan? with mesmerizing views? and with little adventure?

If few of these answers are in 'Yes', You're at right place...wake your inner traveler up and heads up for amazing excursion😇 .... Caution : 5 Min Read

Day 1 : Noida to Haridwar

Being in an era where waking up early, especially on weekend is next to impossible, let's make an announcement a night before weekend to your parents that tomorrow we are making it possible, and get them ready for travel....keep the destination as secret, as this will add some extra spice.....But Guys and Girls pack your bags in advance😜

(Noida to Haridwar takes 4.5 hrs. approx., if you can Drive by own it'll take even less...if not, planning for train journey will equally good, pick any train with 7 or 7:30 AM departure schedule from Ghaziabad...I chose DDN SHTBDI EXP...We can opt for YOGA EXPRESS as well)

Har Ki Pauri-Haridwar

Woaah...You will already be achieving one weekend goal by stepping down at 11:30 AM at Haridwar, head towards Har ki Pauri, step more down to the bank of holy Maa Ganga....distract your distractions, and give your attention to sacred flow of Maa Ganga 😊..."Har Har Gange-Jai Maa Gange" !!

Check-in

Quick Quick Quick...Check-in in Haridwar hotel, and get set for taking holy and magical dip in Maa Ganga...yeah I didn't miswrite....magical, because it will snatch out all your travel tiredness or fatigue or may be Jet Lag 😜...and let me highlight Ghats do have Changing rooms with optimal cleanliness.

(There are uncountable hotels, but prefer to grab one near Ganga bank.......Hotels with river view will cost you Rs. 1100-1300 approx. per night...I chose Hotel Bridge Lodge for my itinerary)

Fuel-up

Step up with Brahm Kund Ghat stairs and ample number of food corners are right there

(All-eyes will be on "Mohan Ji Poori Vale", however nearby shops can serve you equal taste with my experience 😀....Avg cost Rs. 60-80 per person)

Maa Mansa Devi and Chandi Devi Temple, Haridwar

Temples are sited on 1500+ Feet height of Bilwa and Neel Parwat, But not to worry short-cut to cross over height is Ropeway, Don't miss to capture the bird view of Haridwar from ropeway and keep moving with "Jai Mata Di" resonations 🙏

(Take e-Rickshaw from Main Market/Food Corners spot to Mansa Devi Ropeway ticket counter which costs you Rs 15-20 per person. For both Devi darshan ticket cost is Rs. 355 and Avg time to complete Mansa Devi and Chandi Devi darshan is 3:30-4 hrs)

Aarti Darshan

One word for Ganga Aarti at Har ki Pauri in the evening will be "Incredible" , Ganga turns its shades with each passing moment of dusk, People started gathering at Ganga bank from 5:30 PM, taking their sitting place in front rows and Ganga Aarti starts at 6:30 PM sharp. After performing Aarti, you can visit all temples on Brahm Kund Ghat.

(Try to grab a place opposite to Main Ganga Mandir around 5:30 PM)

Heads up for Rishikesh as early as possible, otherwise you may get traffic on Haridwar-Rishikesh road😐...Yes, Traffic do exist there as well.

(You can take Sharing Auto from Har-Ki-Pauri to Rishikesh which costs you Rs 70-80 per person and 50 Min-1 Hr)

Sunrise : You can't afford to miss out

Before moving to another beautiful city Rishikesh, Don't...Please don't miss out early morning sunrise view !! (Wakeup at 6 AM to catch this mesmerizing view, because Sun rises and doesn't care who woke up yet😛)

Laxman Jhula

Day 2

Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula are beautiful attractions in Rishikesh

(Get Down at Luxman Jhula auto stand from Haridwar, thereafter It needs 15-20 min walk to reach Luxman Jhula)

From Luxman Jhula Bridge you can capture breathtaking views, surrounded with Green Mountains all over, Green Ganga beneath, shiny Sun in sky and trembling bridge😇...spend sometime at Luxman Jhula and prepare yourself for next adventure-River Rafting !!

Travel back

If you wish you can travel back to Noida at end of Day 2, However I highly doubt that you will be wishing to return back so early 😛

(Pick Train from either Yog-Nagari-Rishikesh station or Haridwar station. Rishikesh to its Railway station takes 45 mins and back to Haridwar will take 1:30 hrs...I chose same train DDN SHTBDI EXP from Haridwar to return back to Ghaziabad).

I believe you will definitely spend quality time with your family in lap of nature, and this journey will make your Weekend worthwile 😍.
