Arrived in Cusco PERU via Lima, got a taxi outside the airport for 10 usd ( rip off cuz I don’t speak Spanish & didnt have sol) TIP : exchange money at the airport : google the correct exchange& expect 10% less. Another TIP : LEARN THE LANGUAGE @ the very least please, thank you, how much & know the numbers they may answer...
Hiked to magical waterfall then 2.27 hours along the mountains in Pisac, Peru. There were 5 majestic wild horses along the route but not another human soul in site ! At the end of our hike we walked through this village, down to a garden vegan restaurant with an incredible vegan chickpea burger & vegan coconut chai ice cream ! YUM great WiFi - enough connection to FaceTime my loved ones ! Pure excitement and isolation in natural beauty ! The peaks were worth the moderate hike!
