Coming here and not taking the most gorgeous looking dupattas (stole) is a sin my friends. Rajasthani markets are famous for all the colors, and that's exactly what you see once you are around. I had a long list of things to bring back home by my mother. :pTrust me, it is very difficult to stop yourself from buying such beautiful stuff at so affordable prices. And a word of caution - this is the place you display all the bargaining skills in the world, or else you will regret big time. You can certainly add a lot more places in your trip. If falling in love is something you have never experienced, then come here. It's time! :)

4)Shopping at Bapu bazar: I am not really the shopping types. I prefer exploring a new place rather than spend hours in a shop. But shopping in Jaipur is totally worth it. It introduces you to the variety of handicrafts that Rajasthan has to offer and you stand a chance at having some interesting conversations with the local shopkeepers. While popular in the tourist circuits is the Johari bazar, it is the nearby Bapu Bazar that locals shop at. Block printed bed sheets, soft blankets that make you feel like a king, colorful Kurtis, antique wine glasses and what not. Put your bargaining hat on for a 2000 can easily mean a 800. When in Jaipur make sure you try Pyaj Kachori, Mirchi Vada, Laas Maas, Ghewar and the DAAL BAATI. Here are a few places I visited and their reviews.
The market is famous for Jaipuri Handicrafts, artificial jewellery and Jaipuri fabrics. The place is a paradise for shopping freaks provided you have good bargaining skills. The Market gives you very good idea of the vibrant nature of Jaipur as it is full of colours and lightning. Beautiful and multicoloured handscrafts along with flashy jwelleries are the highlight of Bapu Bazar. After some shopping we decided to have our dinner at
After you cover both of these, head straight to Jauhari Bazaar and Bapu Bazaar for some quick shopping. Since these are near Hawa Mahal, you can plan to have lunch in this market only.Shop for - quilted jackets, jaipuri razais, dupattas, suit materials and anything and everything you feel like.
Bapu Bazaar: The Bapu Bazaar is a famous Bazaar located in the old city of Jaipur. It lies between the New Gate and the Sanganeri Gate. The bazaar has fancy bangles, apparel and traditional rajasthani footwear. Leather products are quite famous here. Remember to bargain here. It also has fixed priced showrooms and can be easily reached via cab.

For shopping lovers this place a must to visit , but remember you need to have great bargaining skills. Also you can buy rajsathani bedsheets, suits, arts and crafts. I will not recomment buying artificial jewellery like kundan necklace and all from here as johari bazar is good for it.
