Every day in Switzerland was a power packed adventurous day with newer possibilities swarming every nook and corner. From the highs of the mountain to the virgin valleys, it was a treat to the eyes.Being in our late 20's, the kind of restless traveller we are, Switzerland ,simply, overwhelmed us. It was time to bid adieu to one of the most scintillating villages I have ever been to , and head towards our next adventure.
Day 3: We went to Lucerne and Mt. Rigi which is also called as the Queen of Mountains. Lucerne is a picturesque city and you can walk around and enjoy its beauty and culture. The classic Rigi Round Trip offers a winning combination of boat, cogwheel railway and aerial cable car rides. This varied excursion to the heart of Central Switzerland makes the perfect day or half-day trip from/to Lucerne. The boat trip on Lake Lucerne is an experience in itself. I urge you all to keep 1 day in your schedule for this.
After a sumptuous breakfast the next morning, we reached the Sihlquai Bus Terminal once again for today's sightseeing tour. Just like our other tours, it was supposed to start from the same place. I was quite excited since we were going to visit one of Switzerland's main attraction - the Mount Titlis. It had been on my bucket list for a long time.Accompanied by our guide, our journey began via Albis Pass and along the shores of Lake Lucerne to the city of Lucerne. It is the capital of the Canton of Lucerne and an important tourist destination due to its location being within sight of Mount Pilatus and Rigi. We were taken on a short city tour and shown the main sites, which included a photo stop at Lake Lucerne.
Day 3 – Zurich to Mount PilatusThis was an amazing day for us and the very first day when we used our Eurail Pass ( We opted for the 3 Countries Pass , In India we only get First Class Pass)
