This May, you can sign up for a 'Once in a lifetime' trip around the world - that too in a private jet with luxury tour company Abercrombie & Kent.
This 23-day “Cultural Treasures” - which starts on May 5, 2022, will take 48 lucky travelers around the world in an all-business-class Boeing 757 jet. Yeah, you read this right - it's like a dream coming true!
Travelers will get to explore some of the world's most popular cultural sites - from the ruins of Angkor in Cambodia to the ancient city of Petra in Jordan. The trip would also include private tours of other famous sites, as well as overnights at luxury resorts at each stop.
But, hold your breath - 'coz this mind blowing trip will cost you a fortune! Abercrombie & Kent’s Cultural Treasures Private Jet Tour 2022 starts from USD 136,000 (INR 1,03,14,512) per person!
The journey will commence from Seattle, from which guests jet off to Guam, then Cambodia, where the itinerary focuses on the temples and monasteries of the Siem Reap province.
Later, travelers will hop off to Nepal, where they'll take a helicopter tour around Mount Everest, apart from exploring the temples of Kathmandu. From Nepal, they'll fly down to India and witness the beauty of the Taj Mahal, and spend a night at one of the boutique stays in Agra, India.
The next stop would be Uzbekistan, where the travelers will be immersed in the city of Samarkand’s Silk Road history. They'll then fly to Abu Dhabi, where it’s all about modern sites rather than ancient history. They’ll watch a special race at the Yas Marina Circuit, which hosts the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, and tour the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, a contemporary architectural marvel. The itinerary then switches back to ancient sites with a stop at Petra in Jordan, followed by a 4×4 ride through the moon-like landscapes of Wadi Rum.
The final destination would be in Taormina, Sicily, and it includes a self-drive tour in vintage Italian cars, as well as visits to artisans’ workshops. The grand finale of the itinerary is a farewell gala in the style of a 19th-century Sicilian wedding, after which travelers will be flown back to Boston.
What's included in this "luxury trip"?
The company has promised high-end service for all travelers, and they'll be accompanied by an Abercrombie & Kent tour director, as well as a doctor — everything from meals to visas will be handled by the luxury tour operator.
During the trip, these 48 travelers will be split into smaller groups led by tour managers and local guides for more intimate and immersive experiences.
