Day 1

What's the thing, I checked off my bucket list you ask?

It was 2019. I ticked off my dream to travel far and wide, more, more and much more.

I finally took a trip, practically every two months in the year.

Throughout my life, I've had many dreams, but one goal: and that was to travel the world as much as I can, through whatever I do.

Financially, my family wasn't great, ever. So I never got a chance to go travel. Not even on school or college organised trips. There simply wasn't enough money.

So I had decided that nce I start earning, I'm going to take charge, save up and travel all I can, as much as I can.

And that's precisely what I did. I started earning in July 2018, and from January '19 I started traveling all over the country to places my pocket could afford.

I took a road trip with my friends to Alibaug.

I travelled to Meghalaya, laurels of whose beauty I grew up listening to from my mum (She once lived there)

I photographed my first One-Horned Rhino in Pobitora, Assam.

I travelled with my friends to one of the most secluded places in Uttarakhand and saw a shooting star. Stayed in a bungalow away from civilisation, with no electricity, cellphone and probably a ghost.

I went on my first romantic escapade. The romance might have been as short as the trip, but there's something about romancing at a picturesque place. You feel the love more violently.

And that's probably the worst part too, it's back to normal once you're in the city.

The best was probably an extremely last minute hop to Hampi. I booked a flight to Bengaluru from Delhi at 12 in the night just 4 hours before its departure to go see Hampi.
One of the most unique places in the world.

So guys, these are the things I sort of ticked off:
1. A road trip
2.  A trip to the North East
3. A trip to the hills with friends
4. Eloping to the hills
5.  Exploring Hampi

I hope you enjoy all the photos I've posted from these trips!

2019 was a good year, you all.

These trips have made me much more patient, informed and happy.

Truth be told though, the real 'check' from my bucket list has been to find this ability to pick up my bag and go to absolutely anywhere I'd like to.

And I'm gonna do it over and over again.

Meghalaya's unmatched natural beauty
