There are huge number of places one might want to go for a sojourn. Some might go to a beach, some head towards hill. I found a place which is a revitaliser. Its different first of all and one must set his expectation right before striking. This is about 80 kms away from Kolkata a village named Gobordanga, Beri (গোবরডাঙ্গা, বেড়ী). Any village itself brings a lot sight infront of you for eg. the simplicity of people around, the not-so-hizzi-busy life, the green etc. But this one proffers even more.
What it proffers:
numerous birds, diverse fruits and vegetables, smiling-simple people around.

1> This area is a fishery, so expect to get huge number of fresh and inexpensive fishes to hit your belly.
2> The beauty of the fisheries.
3> women-driving-boats is not a usual display in any other places but here.
4> Sri Sri Ramkrishna Ashram which provides food and shelter to the underprivileged ones.

2> Local Trains from Kolkata till Gobardanga and then hire a car
