Amer fort in pink City

I am from Mumbai. I love travelling and visiting new places. recently I visited Rajasthan and this blog is about that trip.

I have taken train from Mumbai to Jaipur because I love to travel in trains, I reached Jaipur in evening by 6 PM and took hotel to rest and I have already decided the places where I have to go next day.

I woke up in morning next day and I saw the morning of Jaipur it was so magnificent. At 8 AM I left my room and went in market of Jaipur to have breakfast. but market was not opened completely but I got breakfast and than I went in search of local bus.

I love travelling in local transport that's why i took bus and the fair of bus was 15 INR only. after 1 hour bus reached to Amer fort gate and i was amazed after watching Amer palace and Maota lake. You can have first look of Amer fort from the gate itself.

it's a huge palace or Fort on hills with a beautiful lake

While entering in the fort you have to take ticket and that cost 50 INR for Indians and 550 INR for Foreign tourist.

when I entered in the fort first I saw the giant gate which is known as "Sun Gate". I entered inpalace from here and saw beautiful section of palace which is made by using different colors of sandstone after that I went for the main area i.e. "Diwan-e-Aam" it was truly beautiful.

Than Jaigarh fort is also combine with Amer fort. you can see that also on the same day. they have ancient canon manufacturing factory (Arsenal) with instruments.

Jaigarh fort is 1.5 KM up from Amer Fort. and from Jaigarh fort one can see half of Jaipur.

Amer fort is close by 5.30 PM so authorities will clear the crowd and close the main gate, after that you will get entry by 7 PM when light show starts there you have to take another ticket to watch that light show.

I love the palace and my day was awesome so guys please and visit Jaipur.
