GOA is a place that never leaves behind to surprise you with the fun and happiness it has to offer. This super tiny place somehow manages to cheer you up in your way. Whether loud music, dance, Party, seafood, Cocktails, beers, tattoos, neon vibes or street shopping, Charming Goa makes sure, you fall for it.

But have you seen the other face of Goa? Which is far from loud music, Tattoos and laughter. This Goa will calm you down with its mesmerizing views. It has serenity. The cocktail of breezy air and Lush green nature will give you a refreshing hangover.

Although, a lot of people do visit peaceful Goa. However, Some places like Heartlake are still one of them where, apart from locals, tourists barely manage to reach.

We happened to reach there:

In September, when my friends and I were overwhelmed with partying and fun in South Goa, our new local friend Asad offered us a scooter ride around Goa. And we all welcomed his idea of knowing a place from a local's perspective. We started with our Scooter while Sun played Hide and Seek with Dark Blues Clouds. Soon we left the chaotic Goa Behind and now riding on dirt and wet tracks. We passed through the canopy of coconut trees, paddy fields and reached Chicolna near Vasco. After a 10 mins ride, we were offroading. When I was about to give up, Asad asked to gear up for a small trek of 15 mins. We started walking through bushes and shrubs. Ashad told us that locals call this place Susice point in the trail. I was so disappointed thinking 'every city with even a small cliff called Suicide point, what's the big deal in that!' i was too engrossed in my thoughts that when one of my friends screamed "Look at this…….." and she ran in the green tableland with zero population.

What I could Witness was beyond any words. The Sun partially hides behind the clouds. I quickly walked on the plateau and reached the dead-end of the cliff. I could have the most comprehensive view of that mesmerizing site. There was a small

water body right below the ridge, in the foreground of the Ocean.

The Sight I never wanted to get my Eyes off.

We sat near the cliff, trying to soak all the beauty and peace within. The smell of colourful flowers around were dissolving in earthy breezy air. Suddenly, I noticed something interesting: the water body's shape below the cliff. I started it harder; yes, It was a Heart-Shaped waterbody. I almost screamed Asad, "Guys, this waterbody is in the shape of a heart." Asad looked at me, smiled and said, "Dear, that's why we call it HeartLake." The full view took all my attention once again, where the glowing Sun gave golden detailing to everything that existed there.

Probably, I have seen this small piece of art by nature at the best time of the season. The light and shadow performance by the clouds and the Sun with the dramatic reflection in the Ocean was nothing but sheer pleasure. The view made our body and the soul sit there for a little longer. What I could feel was peace. What I could hear was the sarin sound of waves adding a little more water to the heart lake every now and then. What I could see was maybe one of the most beautiful sites of my life. Some Stunning pictures near the cliff, and we walked down towards the heart lake; all of us took some rejuvenating dip in the cool heart lake with the Sun dipping in the Indian Ocean, making the water more orange and fewer torques.

The kind of vibe and aura this little place provides, Certainly makes it the Heart of Goa.
