
Founded by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh, Jaipur is the largest city of Rajasthan. Words remain less to personify the beauty and rich heritage of Jaipur. The town is decked with plentiful Forts, palaces and temples.
Day 1
Hawa Mahal was built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh for the royal ladies to get a view of the street and the festivals celebrated outside without being seen.
The great five-story pyramidal shaped architectural monument has 953 jharokhas(small windows) that allowed them to have the street view and also let the breeze to come inside thereby making the temperature inside the Mahal pleasant.

During the morning time, the Mahal is illuminated by the sunlight. Every jharokha is designed with intricate carving.
It is a delight for the tourists visiting Jaipur.
Jantar Mantar: The World's Largest Sundial
Featured as the UNESCO World Heritage site, Jantar Mantar has a cluster of nineteen architectural astronomical instruments. These man-built instruments were used to measure the time, predict the eclipses, track the location of major celestial bodies, etc.
This beautiful observatory attracts tourists from all over the world.


Albert Hall Museum
Also called as Government Central Museum, Albert Hall Museum is the oldest museum of the Rajasthan. This museum showcases Indo-Saracenic architecture and is a center of attraction for the tourists.

Patrika Gate: An amazing Instagramable Place
The Jaipur City was walled with seven gates initially. Due to the principles of Vaastu Shastra, two-mode gates were built. Patrika gate is the ninth gate and symbolizes the heritage of Rajasthan, showcases the beautiful culture, hand paintings of various forts, temples are added here.

The motifs crafted all over the gate tells the speak volumes of the marvelous and incredible work done by the artists.
Day 2
Located on a hill in Amer(11 km from Jaipur), Rajasthan, Amer Fort is avowed for its beautiful Hindu style elements. The fort overlooks the Maota Lake.
The fort is built using pink and pale yellow sandstone, and white marble.
The artistic palace is modularized into four levels with each level having a courtyard.

The Main Entry is the Suraj Pol (Sun Gate) that leads to the first courtyard Jalebi Chowk.

Ganesh Pol(also referred to as the Ganesh Gate)is the doorway to the privy palaces of the Maharajas.
The second courtyard is the Diwan-i-Aam. This Public Audience Hall is used by the King to listen and address petition of the ordinary people.

In the third courtyard, The maharaja’s apartments are stationed.

The fourth courtyard is for the Royal family women and is called the Zenana.
In 2013, Amer Fort declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Jaigarh Fort: World's Biggest Cannon on Wheels
The Jaigarh Fort is mainly used for military purposes. The fort was built to protect the Amer Fort and its mansion since it overlooks Amer Fort and the Maota Lake. This is also called as the Victory Fort.


Nahargarh Fort stands on the brim of Aravali range. The Nahargarh Fort, Jaigarh Fort, and the Amer Fort trio formed a vigorous ringlet for the city.
The complete view of the Jaipur city is visible from the Roof Terrace of the Fort.
The fort is shooting places for scenes for various songs and movies such as Rang De Basanti, Shuddh Desi Romance, and She Move it Like(song by Badshah).
