Fort Kochi is the Europe of Kerala. The architecture, food and culture are so versatile and the secluded island is perfect for a weekend getaway
We arrived by train to Ernakulam and checked-in to a hotel nearby. Freshened up and we were off in search of some authentic Kerala food. We roamed all around in MG road post lunch and went on small ferry ride in the ocean where we witnessed the Dutch palace from the sea.
Next morning we visited Cherai beach for a beautiful morning well spent and then traveled to the exciting Fort kochi. The journey was something very amazing. We had to take a ferry that carried us along with our car to the beautiful Fort Kochi.
As you cross the sea and get into the island you fell you have suddenly entered Europe. Place is amazing and has a lot to see.Lot of Churches, Museum is just so amazing and also great place to shop and eat. We spent whole day just loafing around
