Day 1

Holla Holland!
I was on work in Enschede, Netherlands for 3weeks,
So we had two weekends to explore Holland! My friends were excited for Amsterdam, however I was more into exploring a different part of Holland, we started searching for other places and found this place on Google. The pictures were so appealing that we decided to go on a one day trip to Giethoorn village. We booked a train ticket to Giethoorn that costed us around 15Euros. It was two change train to Giethoorn village and a small bus route to the actual spot from where Giethoorn starts.

You cannot explore this place by walking you need to hire a self roven boat, speed boat or there were multiple trip boats that offered the whole package of 1 hour to explore the village. We choose a self roven boat, they provide you map and the ways.

Trust me, pictures were nothing as compared to the actual Village, houses around the water stream, hotels , cafes, backwaters, it was simply a treat to eyes!

We took around 2 hours to complete the whole round, had our lunch there at one of the cafes on the bank and took a return train.
Trust me even if you are new and know nothing, there are lot of new tourists there who can help you and guide you.

We reached our place in evening. It was a one day trip but I would say it was our one of the best trips in Holland!
