The best thing that we experienced in Kasol is our stay "Backpackers nest " which is in Choj just a 20 minutes walk from Kasol. The stay is located totally into nature.
The owner of the nest Gajender is friendly natured person.
I would suggest you to stay here because now a days the kasol is too commercial and prices are too high in that area , you could get the accomodation here in a good price with the nice views.

Kasol is a small village in the Kullu district. It is situated on the banks of Parvati valley. It is a Himalayan hotspot for backpackers around the world and especially for the stoners.
It has also famous trekking points Kheerganga and Malana.
It has beautiful weather throughout the year. so my experience in Kasol was a really memorable one.
HOW TO REACH :-
You can take a cab from anywhere but they would charge you more if you are a budget backpacker then You can take a bus from bunthar bus stop to kasol they will charge you like 40 rupees per person
WHERE TO STAY :-
kasol has many camp sites and nearby treks like chalal and rasol but we stayed in a hostel called backpackers nest.
Thats how we spent our time here doing nothing and just waking in woods and small streams of water.
