I went here a couple of months ago when I was working in Attingal, Trivandrum. I came to know about this place when I was scrolling through social media. I decided to go there, from the reviews I came to know that the place is best to visit in the early morning or in the evening. So I planned to go there in an early morning. The place was just 15 kms from my stay, so it's not a great deal to travel over there..
The next day I woke up by 4.30 am and become set to go by 5 am. I started my Bully rode slowly and reached the destination by 5.30. The road towards the place seems to be empty. I kept my Bully aside and start to walk towards the small hill. I waited for the Sunrise, and you know that was the best part.. the views.. the priceless views.. I witnessed for one of the best Sunrise in my life. The place was so much beautiful when the light spreads all over, the view from the hilltop was just mind blowing. I spend there for half an hour and I left the place as I have to move for the Work.
Vellanikkalpara is one of the offbeat place in Trivandrum district, one of the best place to hangout with Family and Friends.
NB: Keep Water and Snacks because there are no shops nearby to purchase such things.
