So we reached our resort which we booked in advance. Goa monsoon rains welcomed us with open arms as can be seen in this pic. Goa is most beautiful in monsoon and it is the best season to spend time in Goa. The weather was pleasant and the atmosphere was lush & green. Our room was good & near to the swimming pool. It has two doors so that the back door can be used after taking a dip in the pool. After keeping our luggage we checked in the resort's restaurant. We ordered a glass of drink along with both veg and non-veg snacks, as me being a vegetarian and my husband eats non-veg as well. Some says vegetarians can't enjoy food in Goa but they are wrong. Goa offers foods which can satiate everyone. Later on we went for a walk at Candolim Beach which is only 300 meters from our resort. It was raining since morning so the sand at the Candolim beach was soft and wet. We walked barefoot on the beach, witnessing the beauty of Arabian sea in the most awesome Goan monsoon weather. The sea waves were astonishing. We spent some time at the beach and it again started raining so we went back to the resort and had a little fun in the swimming pool. It was a great experience to swim in the pool while it rained. In the evening we decided to have dinner at the nearby restaurant which is just 160 meters from our resort, De Candolim Deck.
