The lovely idea is an initiative by Potcake Place, a rescue dedicated to helping stray island dogs.
Their mission is to reduce the number of homeless dogs on the island!
Typically, there are about 50 dogs in foster care at the shelter at any given time. The shelter is located in Saltmills Plaza in the Grace Bay area of Providenciales.
You can simply ask for a dog and take it for a beach walk. You can even take more, if you want more cuddles.
Not only are you free to hang out with the dogs, but adoptions are also essentially free. They also encourage donations while the non-profit could use all the help they can get. They are run 100% by volunteers and have no paid employees.
