The day started with full of enthusiasm as i was about to start for Leh by car. This time with my wife not solo. Leh is not a new place to anyone as this used to be until 2015 or 16. We started from Delhi at around 5 in the morning with excitement. It was a rainy day. As we were getting close to Manali, a lot of things were changed as i never visited this place since 2015 of 16. Now the roads are quite comfortable so anyone who is planning to Manali or further can come easily. So we reached Manali around 6 pm.
We rested in Manali for a night only. Next day after breakfast we started to Serchu valley which was our next halt. First we had a plan to stay before Serchu but had time so we continued the same day till Serchu.

First I had plan to visit suo moriri lake via lake, but our camp guy told me that there is another way to visit suo moriri lake and for that i don't need to go back to leh. This road goes close to line of control area in leh but there is no patrol punp there. I could cover 400km easily there was no certainty as to which place i should get a patrol pump. This was a new way so without wasting time we started for the suo moriri lake. The roads are pretty good on this route. But make sure anyone who is coming from this way packed some food because after crossing around 70 km from this side there is no shop available.
