Daringbadi is located in the Kandhamal district of Odisha covered with pine forests and verdant green valleys that are kissed by clouds during the monsoons. It is said that the place first came to the notice of a British Officer named Dering. It is from his name, the place was called Deringbadi and then later came to be known as Daringbadi. It is said that during the British era, Daringbadi was used as a summer destination for the British.

The nearest airport is Bhubaneswar. The distance between Bhubaneswar and Daringbadi is 250 km. From Bhubaneswar, it is easier to take a cab to reach Daringbadi.
The nearest railway station is Berhampur. The distance between Berhampur to Daringbadi is about 120 km. Hire a cab from Berhampur to reach Daringbadi. There are also a few public bus services from Berhampur to Daringbadi.
Best Time to visit
You can visit Daringbadi at any time of the year. The summer season will have a pleasant temperature while during the winters, the weather remains quite cold.
