How to reach the temple?

It has many ways, like u can either travel by bus where there is a local bus available for the transportation of people to the temple on top of the hill or you can also go by walk by climbing the hill.
Divya darshan: reaching temple by walking from foot of tirupati is called divya darshan. This walk is believed to be very auspicious. It consists of 3550 steps. You can reach in maximum of 4 hours. Before climbing the steps you can deposit your luggage at the foothills of alipiri and it will reach the top of the hill by the time you reach the top.
There is also another route for climbing the steps where you can walk from SriVari steps and it is considered as the shortest walk. As you climb the hill, you can also find small shops selling juices, biscuits and other beverages,so you won't run out of food. Free drinking water is available and toilets are also available as you climb the steps.

The temple will be really very very crowded. You can buy vip tickets before visiting the temple before few days, and you can have the darshan of the god little quicker. If not you have stand in the divya darshan queue and you have to wait for hours to get in there. I go to this temple every year and on an average it nearly takes 3-4 hours to get the darshana of lord Venkateswara. You will also get the prasadam being served inside the temple. The temple laddu is very famous there and you can buy the laddu. The temple laddu is one thing that you have to compulsory taste. It has an amazing taste.
