Venice is a magical city of its own. Wrapped in layers of history, arts, culture, tradition and food. It is truly an enchanting place. I made this trip over a weekend and was thoroughly impressed by what the city had to offer. The food is a bit overpriced in some places so please be a bit cautious and although its an extremely touristic place, I was lucky enough to not be facing the wrath of peak tourism due to the current covid restrictions.

The trip encompassed going around Venice city where I had taken a hotel, while on the final day made a day trip to Burano (a small island located near Venice, around 30mins by boat ride) and was blown away by the colorful houses and glassmaking artistry that the local people had to offer.
