After hearing about the Himalayas that were now visible from the city of Jalandhar, sight of clean waters of the Yamuna, bring some hope to this otherwise dire situation.

The main reason for this change is the complete shutting down of industries and zero dumping of garbage and now with no waste, blue waters if the river are shining again. The recent rainfall is also responsible for improved water level, which, in turn, has contributed to the return of some migratory birds and marine life. With hardly any vehicles on the road, the air quality has also seen massive improvement.
